The UK Armed Forces has confirmed plans to introduce a ‘Gap Year’ Foundation Scheme for young people from March 2026.
Young people in Britain will soon be offered the chance of a “gap year” through a new paid program in the armed forces, the government announced Saturday.
The paid 12-month course is aimed at under-25s, with plans for the scheme to grow to 1,000 young people a year.
